Athanasia Marr (b. 1999) is a visual artist currently living and working in Athens, GR.
She is interested in repetition, subtle traces of presence and the spontaneous discovery of overlooked details in what remains after an action or event — the marks, patterns and quiet evidence left behind by natural forces or human activity, occasionally exposing the unintended wit embedded in human gestures and choices.
Besides visual arts, she works as a freelance photographer and retoucher.
